Basically, my Ender 3 no longer auto-homes. Specifically, the Z-Axis no longer moves down (the X and Y axis seems to be fine). Not only will it not Auto-home, but going to "Move axis" in the Prepare menu will also not move the Z-Axis down. I have attached a video I found on YouTube that showcases basically the exact same problem I am having. This has shifted the nozzle position. I also flashed some new Marlin 2 firmware and in the Hero Me manual it says to uncomment and change #define MANUAL_Y_HOME_POS -9 to suit this change in nozzle position. This has, however, not given me the right results. It did not center my prints but actually let the Y-axis grind upon going to Y235 Using the M203 command to set a new Z max speed value and finally saving it with M500 to the EEEPROM. You probably realize that by changing this max feed rate value in the EEPROM we can actually change the fast probing speed for the z-axis to any value equal or below what we have set to Z_PROBE_FEEDRATE_FAST. So, Marlin must know the association between endstops and directions, otherwise, it is not possible to be sure if a given movement will force against the endstop or will untrigger it. You can surely implement some kind of autodetection, move an axis, for example, when homing, and just assume the triggered endstop is the MIN or the MAX of that axis. When testing XYZ homing, XY are doing fine, but Z homing behaves weirdly. Z axis goes up by 5-10mm, Bltouch probes once and then log gives an error. Steps to Reproduce. Here is the error from the log. 11:24:44.428 : N16 G28 Z0110 Once I clicked an endstop I should have kept it closed since the homing expects to keep the switch in a triggered state once it does the step back to the homing position. Simply mounting the endstop on the printer / keeping the end stop triggered in my hand for a few seconds after homing solved the issue for me. HOLY FUCK> IM RETARDED.
